Working my way through my very long Oldhammer painting queue

I can never settle on painting any one army, i usually finish one small batch and them switch to a different range, almost all 1980s slotta and some pre-slotta. Occasionally some 1990s or newer things, I do like forest goblins!

Just finished these for January:

A pre-slotta C36 Goblin mounted on a 25mm base

My first two ADD68 Drow (hope to find some more to buy to add to my mini collection), these kindly supplied by Citzen Sade here.

Two 1980s miniatures inspired by Michael Jackson, Mikael Jacsen from the Terror of the Lichemaster and Jaxson Prince from the Judge Dredd range. These were my first miniatures, the range got me into all things Games Workshop as a teenage 2000ad collector in the mid-1980s.IMG_20250202_182350242.jpg

Jaxson Prince painted to look, hopefully, something like the comic strip drawing

Nicely painted minis! Never seen Jaxson Prince before, but boy that is one goofy looking miniature with those comically bulging eyes and tongue hanging out. Love it!

I like painting my Judge Dredd range, I've had some of them since the mid 1980s, usually though get distracted by equally old warhammer fantasy ranges that i hope to use in battles at some point

GW's Judge Dredd line is similarly obscure to me as is their Doctor Who line. I did read Dredd comics back in the 90s but can't say I was a fan really.
Just like I never had any interest in Doctor Who, but I do enjoy seeing these old miniatures painted even if the IP they come from is not my cup of tea. :)

I've never seen the Doctor Who range, i'd be very tempted by a little Tom Baker :)

A couple of C11 Gnomes painted last week, my friend is planning on running WFRP 1e, I'm usually the GM so on a rare opportunity to play thought i'd try out a gnome using the rules from the 1980s White Dwarf article. Also a wood elf sorceress. This week i'm painting some C15 armoured orcs while waiting for some recently purchased C36 hobgoblins to arrive

Very nice work. Especially the eyes and I totally agree with twisted moon - great colour choices.
