2023 Lustrian Cutthroats Signup

I know I'm running late. I will be finishing the Goblin pirate captain this weekend (for real, he just needs a few coats of varnish) and posting it to symphonicpoet on Monday, if that's OK.

This Goblin pirate comes on a scenic metal base (floorboards of a ship) which I will be using because it's very nice, but it shouldn't be hard to remove him from it if desired. While oldschool, I doubt many people have seen this particular model, so hopefully he will be worth the wait.

I'm about to put on the 2nd coat of varnish, and am on course to ship the goblin pirate captain out tomorrow. So where do I ship this little dude? Does symphonicpoet email me his mailing address?

Don't forget a couple of pre-journey photos. Just drop symphonicpoet a private message (little letter icon towards the top right) or hover over the username and click 'start conversation' and he can give you his address - to save posting it again for the world to admire :)

Thanks, EricF, I've messaged symphonicpoet for his address. Unfortunately I'm having car problems this morning, so I will have to delay shipping the Goblin pirate captain out until tomorrow.

I will take some pictures of him and post them in this thread this evening.

Thanks for the comments guys, that makes my day. I initially planned on doing a lizard man, but then I saw the goblin pirate model and had to go with it.

I just shipped him out to symphonicpoet.

^To be completely fair, that's more or less the style of clothing that Georgian era Royal Navy officers are depicted to have worn in the tropics. (Says the guy whose desert dwelling avatar has every inch of his body comparably covered except the one that would really help: his pale and defenseless head. At least Mr. Gobbo has a nice, big, if overly wooly looking hat. Does anyone make a straw three cornered hat? Asking for a friend.)

Late entries . . .

This fine Frau showed up in the mail the other day.

I'm not recalling whose she is, but she looks like she's a part of the prince's fine gang.

Also, the prince himself will be a tad late, but he's coming along. I have a much harder time picking fantasy miniatures, since my collection is so very Sci-Fi. I owe a debt of gratitude to another participant, who sent me a lovely frog. I was going to use a different frog, but I can't find the other anymore, and the new fellow is honestly prettier anyway.

He's not quite done yet, but you can see what I'm getting at. Sorry about that. Are there any other late entries I'm waiting on?

I can add a badge to those available ... it just needs a creative type to produce one :) *nudge nudge*

I'll make a badge. Give me a couple of days. Still behind. But first, a group shot.

To make sure I have this correct, I'm going to list these left to right:

pirate-twisted moon, swordsman-epicsatsuma, goblin captain-Machen, bandit-inchmurrin, lizardman-also epicsatsuma, mounted archer-Loose Loser, dwarf-Geroak II, swashbuckling frog-symphonicpoet, madein-sewars.of.estark, barbarian-sleepysod, frog friar (which sounds alarmingly tasty when said aloud)-EricF

I don't believe I have Bluey Zarzov's Morris dancer skink. I'll pm him and see if he's still coming. Am I missing anyone? This is truly a fantastic lot this year. Someone is going to be one lucky gamer!

That’s one hell of a motley crew! Must be the biggest response to the competition for a few years? Well done all those who have sent in a mini and well done symphonicpoet for organizing once again!

Mighty fine looking bunch for sure. Got to second Sleepysod on both well done all and thank you symphonicpoet.
Now, even though chance of winning is not huge I'd rather not risk it happening, so this might be the right time for me to ask to not be included in the draw.
