Lord
Possibly a little 'new' for my normal comfort zone, but without wanting to get into tedious arguments about what is and isn't 'Oldhammer', I think 1994's old enough now to count.
This is a bit of an unusual one, the model itself is from the mid 1990s 'Red' period, which I'll be honest I'm not the biggest fan of, and probably wouldn't have chosen to paint it if it wasn't a commission job. The original rider was an awful Gary Morley job which was huge, chunky and weirdly out of proportion with the dragon. The client didn't really like him, so we went with this Lahmian vampire instead, which makes the dragon look much more imposing. I also like the splash of colour she gives on the sickly looking dragon flesh. (I was also particularly pleased with how she came out!):
And a few more shots from different angles:
Cheers for looking!
