Zoat for RT .... now for the real sculpt!

Ok after all the input and opinions , finally I'm coming up with this guy that I always wanted to do!
I'm keeping the line of the technical devices and breather , but adding some design variations. I'm also trying to keep
a "similar" muscular style close to Nick Bibby sculpts.

Just the torso on a very "obscure" pic to add some mystery by now , hehe

I love the head - rebreathers have always been one of my favourite looks in 40k...and this guy has the look on steroids! I can't wait to get a copy :)

This looks really good, I really like the equipment. The shapes and the nature are really goodn they really scream "alien" and "sci-fi" which is a very good alternative to the more organicgear on Bibby's sculpts. Teh arms seems a little longer than on the original too (seems like a signature of yours Diego ;) ). On any othe rmodel I would have had second thoughts about a creature ligting such a weapon single handedly but considering the musculature on this guy, I don't see no problem with that in this case. Would the torsos you're making be designed to fit on a Bibby body ? (that would be a total coincidence right?).

If you're planning on making more bodies, I would suggest one firing a gun in a classic pose, the reason is that all the sculpt of Zoats are facing forward so havng one with his spine turned would be good (it may be harder to sculpt especially on a minotaur I agree).

Hope this helps mate. I'm signig up for this one too of course ;)

The whole tech package looks great - gun and backpack look interesting, different and certainly alien. The musculature is really nice too. Can't wait for this one.

Oh - what are all the out of focus greens? I recognise the space orks, but some of the others are mysteries ;)

It helps a lot JB!
The torsos may not fit well enough on Bibby old ones , because its harder to keep on that proportions etc , BUT , a guy with some skills can make them fit ;)
About the arms , yes , are longer than old ones too , wich might force me to make the "rhino" body a bit taller too , just to keep proportions right, lets see...
I plan to do some extra torsos yes , cant tell how many .....

AXIOM : Those greens you cant recognice are for the guys I work for , Troll Outpost Miniatures ;)
Good eye on the orks , hehe.
