I'm in the process of separating my chaos army into two forces: leaving my 3rd edition army as is and separating the newer minis into a 5th-8th edition force. So what I'm showing here is my 3rd edition Khorne force. I haven't played them in years years (perhaps 20?) but as I recall they were brutal in 3rd edition: get struck in as soon as possible and slaughter everything! I have a 25 unit of Khorne beastman that I'm touching up (24 for following the rules of StD).
And important note is unlike my 5th-8th edition force I'm separating out I did not re-basing these minis; so the bases are "as is" from 10-20 years ago...
Without further ado my 3rd edition chaos force:
General and army standard bearer repainted in the mid 1990s.

8 chaos knights! Major point sink there... In games I used to run them 5 wide...
5 chaos trolls. These were probably painted around 1992/93ish and I left as is.
Lastly, here is my Marauder giant painted around 1992/93ish. Since he is a mercenary under 3rd edition rules I'm fine with him not being associated with Khorne in terms of his color scheme. Year later I added the shields from my high elf force.
As noted I'm touching up my beastman and also have 15 chaos warriors who likewise need some attention, we'll see when I get to those...
