WHQ PDF?

Did GW's Specialist Games section have WHQ as part of their PDF section? If so, is there a (legit) copy knocking around the internet somewhere?

Nope. Probably because it would have been harder to do. As in, tons of cards and floor-plans as opposed to just a set of rules/lists. It certainly didn't have a section on the site, too.

(Admittedly, Gorkamorka was in a similar boat (models you could use modern equivalents but there were odd things like the turning template) but the rulebooks were very briefly up).

The story goes ..That they lost it! (In the move to Lenton) and a PDF no longer exists ... unless some scoundrel has scanned it page by page.

I forgot that. Seemed like one of the more reasonable "lost in the move" stories.

I bet a single call-out to WHQ groups would have found enough volunteers to put together a presentable enough version. Hell, wizards of the coast don't mind asking for money for poorly scanned copies of old D&D editions

That should be possible (I just gave them to Fimm ;) )

I was going to say, I have them all in pdf. but can't remember where I got them from. Looks like Treps has him sorted out though! ;)

If you want better, but not kosher, versions of the cards that fit normal Magic sized sleeves I redid all the cards from the ground up, including backs... It was years ago, but looks like this:

I also touched up the board tiles to get them properly aligned on sheets for optimal cutting, and upped the blackness to... black. =)

I never got around to the player sheets though. Sorry about that. Also, the monster cards have the wrong images (and sometimes names) on them as I used D&D Minis back then for WHQ. I have the source files somewhere so a quick update shouldn't be too hard.

Just let me know and I'll sort you out a download link.

Thanks guys. :) I figured building a set from scratch would be cheaper than finding one! I'm also resizing slightly to be more compatible with AHQ. Working out a new card system I'm calling 'Oldhammer Quest' which you will be seeing more of. Just want to make sure it's AHQ/WHQ/HQ compatible.

If you want to go even Olderhammer, there are scans of the original Dungeon Floorplan box sets out in the wild. I've just bought both box sets on eBay for a similar idea.
