Okay, going through some of my orcs/orks (I had a couple of Orcs with my Orks cause they would pass ^_^;) and I found this guy... I'm not sure who he is..

I'm kinda NOT sure what i'm having trouble IDing him though.. He is a GW sculpt from 89 if the tab is to be believed, and it says 'Snakebite'... So... with that missing arm (clean, I think it was meant to be put on a plastic), and the back shield looking like a Boar, I thought 'Snakebit cyboar rider'. Look, looked though 1987-1993 (1st to 2nd) 40K and.. I'll blanking.. nothing close..

So I thought... I don't remember Snakebite being in Fantasy Battle but, I'll look.. Apart from the back which doesn't really say much, He could easily fit in with WFB as much as 40K.. SO looked at boar riders.. or just general figures around the time.. again, a blank.. I think far more 40K then WFB but.. I'm just having no luck..

Looks to be a 40K Snakebite Boss. CCM has him coming out in 1991, which feels right to my memory. The first time I can find him on Stuff of Legends is the 1991 Blue Catalogue. Hard to figure the tab saying 1989, but those things get pretty mangled when we pull them out of bases to strip our lovelies?

Anyway, that's what he looks to be. I don't have that particular boss, but he certainly fits the style, and he's listed.

Ah, that's why I couldn't find him.. kind a looking in wrong place as I was looking for snake bits and boar riders. Pretty sure it's 89 on the base.. could take another photo some other time and 'zoom' in a bit better then trying to hold it closer to my eye.. maybe a 89 sculpt that didn't see release for a couple of years.. not to surprising. Oh and looking at some others in that set.. (c) GW 89 clearly written so either didn't appear in catalogues for a bit, or held back.

I did look at some bosses but didn't see it.. looks like I missed the 0669 series which was later then the 0561 lot.. Citadel collector doesn't list the sculptor but even before looking at the SOL catalogue page... Kev Adams was pretty much on my mind ^_^

Thanks.
