WHFB 3e - rules I thought I remembered, but can't find

Can anybody help me track down the following rules or tell me I've remembered them wrong...They both came up during an intro game with my 9 year old, and I couldn't find them in the books.
1. Missile troops who have fired in the missile phase cannot move in the reserve phase.
2. Wizards cannot cast if they have moved in the reserve phase, fired a missile weapon or participated in melee. ( I found the one where having suffered a wound prevents casting. )

Many thanks!

Those rules, as far as I can see, are not in the book. I seem to remember that a wizard has to do absolutely nothing to regain magic points, not even move, but am too lazy to look that one up as I am thoroughly drained from the act of absently thumbing through the book looking for the previous two rules. So drained, in fact, that I can hardly bring myself to manoeuvre the mouse down to the submit button.

Those rules are certainly not there in the sections where one would expect them to be. But the book is not super logical in its structure, so i cant be 100% sure.
If I remember right, your first rule is true in Rogue Trader, so I guess it holds in WH2nd. In WH 4th I beleive a march move precluded shooting. Seems 3rd is the odd one out in that respect.

Trouble is it is so long since i played a game, I only really look at the pictures in rulebooks these days ;)

Edit: Padre you are right about resting. A wizard resting to regain points may not move or shoot or fight in combar or cast during the turn.

I'm certain that WFB3 allows a reserve move after bow fire. I remember using the tactic of moving up to a hedge, firing and then reserve moving back to prevent return fire. We went through the rules with a fine tooth comb but concluded there was nothing to prevent this. 40k did disallow this, which is probably what caused the confusion.

According to the rules summary/ play sheet in lost and the damned troops who have fired crossbows, arquebus or blunderbusses in the shooting phase are not permitted to make a reserve move.
That's the only mention if shooting. Other than that all units are permitted to make a reserve move.
