When you don't get the maths right...

I've only gone and come up short when trying to cover the boards. Trying to make two 4ft by 3ft boards, and having been tripped up on the first board by the fact that the rolls were sold as 2ft by 4ft, but were 1200mm by 600mm, leaving me with about a 20mm gap to patch, I don't have enough to finish the last half of the second board, even if I stick all my scraps on.

What I'm really annoyed about though is that I thought about buying a 4th roll, but was too tight and now I need it 🤣

Need to remember where I bought it from now. Regardless, of all the patchy bits and wrinkles, when it's done it'll be an upgrade for over the green felt for the grand half-term battle!

Gotta stay positive, any board is better than no board.

Mines 4 foot by not quite 4 foot, it really bugs me but better than the floor.
When it's done I'll be able to use 4ft by 3ft for small skirmishes and 6ft by 4ft for bigger battles. Before that it was some green baize on the dining table, but couldn't have big deployment zones else the elves could pretty much charge on turn one.
