Warhammer Fantasy 5th ed.

5th ed. is considered something of a classic around here - it was also the basis for Warhammer Ancient Battles, and therefore the mechanics got a lot of use.

Obviously, nothing is perfect [especially when GW is involved] so I'm wondering if people have been using 5th ed. much, and if so, are there some errata / tweaks to clean it up a bit?

Or did everyone just start to play Kings of War??
It is, basically, the Warhammer that GW should have designed, if designing good sets of rules was their goal.

Thanks for any thoughts!

4th and 5th are probably my most played editions.
After 6th, the army setups had too many restrictions. I suppose it was for balance, but it also took much of the fun out of it. Still played 6th a lot, but never bothered with later editions. Was getting tired of replacing army books.
Today I've gone to 3rd edition, I just find it has the most flexible complicated and fun ruleset. Although it may take years between games.

5th Edition probably had the most fun and colourful rulebook.
