Vintage Armies Spotted on Tournaments

This thread is not about my old Warhammer models. That one will have to come later. Instead, I'll post any vintage armies I run across on tournaments.

This is from Gates of Westridge 2014:

Druchii

Dwarfpire. Where are the Knights and Pistoliers from?

Enjoy, and be welcome to add your own tournament observations.

menilboneans and Bob Olley harpies ! God Damnit, this is one beautiful DE army and it's good seeing one painted without a drop of purple as well ! But why have a splendid army to play tournaments !

I can't tell what is going on with the cauldron. I thought it was just a converted 4th/5th ed version. I must find more pics of this army.

eh

Tournaments can be fun if you go to socialize and throw dice. I'm not too interested in spending two days power gaming though.

@mbh: Sorry, I took another picture, but it was much worse. If I spot the Dark Elves on another tournament I'll try to take more pictures and speak with the owner. He was absent the times I went past his army during the weekend.

As for tournaments, I agree they're great to socialize on and they're also a great place to spot the very best converted and painted armies. And show your own, too! :)

Game results and especially powergaming doesn't interest me, but don't fear, you won't encounter too much of it on the bottom rung of the tournament ladder.

Thank you! I actually told my brother at the tournament they're White Knight minis, but I wasn't sure. Good to see they're not OOP.
