Post: Valrak Skull Bearer, Favored of Khorne
I've had a unit of Khorne Warriors laying around for a while, although I didn't paint them. But I also had the rest of Garrek Gorebeard laying around from my conversion of Father Phobetor. So I thought it would be a good opportunity to convert up a truly devoted Khornate warrior. I replaced his butchered arm with a claw arm from the old Mordhiem pits fighters and I crafted a skull helm from an orc skull GW's box of skulls.
I also practice sculpting some hair, both to fill out his beard and to hang below the his helm...but mostly to fill some gaps! The painting was fairly bog-standard, but I did give him fiery red hair, as I felt that was appropriate for a Khorne worshiping warlord. I also bloodied his axe for the same reasons.

Valrak Skull Bearer stalked the frozen wastes looking for more to slay in honor of his majesty Khorne. Unfortunatly, the realm of Shyish was full of the aready-dead, and their skulls did not provide the same satisfaction on the skull throne. He had been following the warband of Felvryrk the Abandoned for a few months now, hoping that their size would draw out foes to slay. But if they did not find some other victims soon, well, maybe his compatriots would have to suffice.
