These are Undead Samurai, painted by Phil Lewis( exGW photographer) and were featured in White Dwarf many moons ago.
Apparently, the green based ones were rebased to fit in with the then standard basing style!
Phil told me these were paited in enamels over a black undercoat( think he was a heretic for this back in the day!)
 
Hi Paul! I remember looking to buy these a few years ago. Glad to see you still have them. Any more pics, I remember there being quite a few more?

I still think they're great, but since all my minis are based on metal washers I decided not to buy these. Didn't want to mess with the provenance and re-base them. I still kind of regret it. =)
