Oh dear, I guess the possibilities for minis are quite open to interpretation and imaginative possibilities?
I have started pretty basic before diving in too hard, but at least the armies are only small bands of models.
 
Tbh, I like the aesthetic, rules are ok ish, I'm not foaming at the mouth just because it's Thomas writing them. The warbands I have are usable in Trench Crusade but are actually for a game I'm developing, both are heavily religious themed.
 
I will return to Turnip one day, love the setting. I just got bored of converting Perry Napoleonics with Agincourt foot knights. I didn't really have much of a plan and my conversions suffered because of it. If a project isn't fun then it's not the time to do it I think.
 
Oh course, no point forcing yourself if not inspired/motivated.
I picked up some conversion 3d bits and have been chopping up some fine Napoleonic plastics to try and make up my characters, but I really enjoy converting (probably more so than painting!).
