Travelling and Transport... Chico needs a lift.

Hey,

Will anyone be travelling up on the Friday to the BOYL event and going past or somewhat close to Watford? I ask because I'm in need of a Lift (There and back) and will happily to pay half of petrol costs and a few pints for driver (Just not when driving heh).

Failing that I'll be travelling up via coach to Nottingham Coach Station on the Friday, would anyone be so kind and to pick me up and drop me in Newark Best Western, again happy to pay for petrol and offer pints of beer to say thankyou.

I'll be travelling from Nottingham on the Friday, so if you have to resort to the coach, I can offer a lift.

Not at all. It's an extra 5-10 minutes on the journey, that's all.
 
Hi Chico,

My dad lives in Hemel Hempstead (only round the corner from you!) and is considering on coming up for the event too. He'd likely be driving up and have car space.

If you are interested I can put you in touch?

Aye mate if you could ask him that would be great :), would need to be going up on the Friday and coming back on the Sunday though and he has to be 100% certain he would be going.

Nice one. There's GLOGG: Greater London Oldhammer Gits & Gamers run by myself and based in Watford, which Hertfordshire for the most part falls into :)

Just going to bump this, as I'll need to book my coach tickets in the next day or so if I can't find a lift.

Hi Chico, unfortunately my dad won't be able to make it to the event, which is a shame.

Hopefully you can get another lift sorted out.
 
Cheers anyway mate but I booked coach tickets last week as I couldn't leave it any longer before prices went up too high. As it's in the middle of the summer holidays (What a silly time to plan a event :razz:) prices are already high heh
