Tilea IC2401 (Campaign#8)

I stuck with that cartoon style religiously for many decades, as I liked the way it looked From a distance in the form of an army was on the table top. But my change to using acrylic paints has now altered my style considerably and it is a bit more like everyone else's. You will probably spot the more recent paint jobs in the videos.

In the end though it is my writing I am more invested in, and I am not that bothered about the painting. My fear is the people will not like my stories as pieces of writing.
Where did you get that style from? It quite distinctive! :)

The mists of time make answering difficult. It was a method that worked with enamels, and I have vague memories of reading about painting that way. I think I tried to make the shift to acrylics sometimes in the late 90s, but that method really didn't work with pre-base paint acrylics so I stuck with enamels until about 5 years ago

Recall seeing something similar in an old games mag, will dig it out this weekend.

Those Halflings are angry chaps! I hope they can resolve their differences… ;)

I should be on YouTube in 40 minutes (9pm UK time) as part of Crown of Command's 'Splatter Natter', a chat between several (?) painters as they paint. Painting Patter, or Colouring Conversation, would have both been worse names for it ;)

Thanks ever so much Symphonic. I really like him too. He's my boy's right hand man now!

Some scouts spy on a force of Sartosan pirates, and they don't like what they see!
