okay.. Not quite an Oldhammer game but damn it, I'm gonna stick to my guns on things like this and I'm sure there are a few people who would agree.

The Woods in the Woods is Oakbound's games day for their old style skirmish (but also other size compatible) game 'The Woods'. It takes place out in the open in the Wild Woodland Celebrations, West Rugger’s Green, Gloucestershire. It is on the 28th June this year. Very small and low-key really, Free to attend but book tickets to keep a track of numbers etc.

despite the long trip, this is kinda the one I go to (or like to as much as possible) a year.
 
It’s Oldhammery enough for me (we covered the painting of the Advent Calendar minis on here without complaint!).

Am tempted to go along this year (weather permitting!), but don’t have a warband for the main game. @Fimm McCool will you be running Thunder Under Mount Silence? If so, I assume will be able to use the advent minis for the main game?
 
well, you can use them. I can probebly go up a quick warband list for them (depending on the side). And he normally does have some spares he can bring along ^_^ or.. you got tell end of June.. plenty of time ^_^ (I got a figure to finish off which... sigh.. taken too long)
 
Yup to all. Happy to play Thunder. As Manic says I will have spare bands with me and you're welcome to bring a selection of minis for us to throw together a list there. It's pretty quick. We aren't fussy about Oakbound models so you can go Oldhammer as you like.
