Wonderful warband, disappointed not to see a Chico named one though heheh, I like Nigel the Troll (My father in laws name, so quite fitting hehe)
 
Simply amazing, very fitting for the Blood God :grin: I love the Knights Panther (?) Champion leading the Marauders, a fall from grace, turned to the ruinous powers :)

The background and layout you have adopted oozes old school charm and class ;)
 
Wonderful stuff and I love the 'comic strip' way you present it.
Real inspiration ... makes me want to go paint stuff.
 
I like the inclusion of the Dave King chaos dwarves, they fit in well. I also thing the fallen knight panther is a neat idea. Great Work. :grin:
 
Great use of the plastic Battlemaster knights, you gave them a better paint job than most, that's for sure :)

I think everyone has tried that static flock as fur trick at some stage! Looks good.
 
My word man - that troll is mutts nuts! Seriously, the best interpretation of a stone troll I've ever seen (I also painted them red, but never thought of the black - so simple but so effective!)

Also, cheers for the 'naming' - I wholeheartedly approve of Mr King's fine little dwarves...

May it be we get to meet this force at the oldhammer meet this year (or at any other time one of us crosses the pond, I suppose)!

Hopefully I can get them to Oldhammer weekend, we will see.

I also can't say enough about Kings/Darkling minis. They are great to paint up, and Dave is a super guy to buy from.

Sorry Chico your name didn't make the cut, I have 15 points left over maybe I can find a beastmen laying around to paint up. :lol:
 
I love what you did there. The whole concept, how you solved the tiny details, the whole display. Gold medal!!
 
I don't know how I managed to miss this brilliant army so far but God It's gorgeous ! The way you tied all those varied references altogether is the sign of a very good job. Harry said it, this makes me want to paint too.
The overall coherence and colourscheme very well chosen. The comic display is just icing on a very tasty cake.
 
Agreed...this is wonderful stuff here...I love the broad range of models chosen...the coherent PJs really bind them together despite their intended design differences.

Excellent work all around....but from what I heard Weazil's ass IS poisonous...so you might need to check your facts on that one... :lol:

Nice to see them all assembled and nicely painted!

Just one minor niggle... there are two Plynkes. =D I think the smelly dog could very well be re-named Chico.

Thanks so much, I new I had painted one already, I just couldn't find it with painters eye. I will be changing Plynkes the hound to Chico when I get home tonight!

Also for that pick up I will change one of the marauders or hounds names to Phreed! Your choice. :grin:

Stinky hound for Chico seems fine, if Dave king releases his arse cannon, please keep me in mind for the name ;)
