Post: The local militia
Hello!
A quick post with a couple of snaps of some of the local townsfolk who will be terrorized by the chaos warband at some point in the future.
First off is the bombard with highly its competent crew. These are some of the nice ex-Citadel figures from Foundry.
Here are the first few of the untrained militia. More of a rabble. They are a mix of figures, some Foundry ex-Citadel, some Essex and the woman with the mace is from Midlam. I've a few more to do because really this is a strength in numbers sort of unit. Sadly, I'd have to say that the Shef Utd inspired banner is a bad omen for these guys.
Once the untrained militia unit is filled out the plan is to a smaller unit of tougher trained militia, a small unit of handgunners and the militia's reluctant leader. Then it is on to the mercenary company and a few more units for the chaos warband.
Maybe in a couple of years it will all be done...
