well.. sometime I'm feeling like I'm forever having to deal with when doing putty work is it being too damn sticky. It's not too bad at a certain size, but even with water, I get to smaller stuff and it just keeps sticking so small details are just impossible.
I know I'm screwing up something, but just wondering about any tips.. I know you can freeze/cool things like green stuff to make it harder, and of course mix putties together for various properties but doesn't seam to really do too much at times.. sometimes I wonder about chalk dust, in the same as as using flour on pastry when making stuff (I did cooking for GCSE ^_^ I felt the metal work they taught up to that point was rubbish and for some reason, the classes I were in always got the short end of the stick.. for example, the other art classes got to make masks using paper mache and plaster to get a 3D shape and all.. we were only allowed cardboard.. woodwork wasn't much better and didn't get to use things like the vacuum forming machine which other classes did.. I know I wasn't in the top classes but I weren't in the bottom one in any really so.. why I ended up with the short stick all the tie I don't know)
anyway.. it is annoying to try to do small details with small amounts of putty when it won't stop sticking to your fingers for it to set where you want it. even sticks to some of the tools I'm using ugh..
