Sorcerer of Malal?

I'm trying to identify this sorcerer, my searches of SOL have proved unfruitful but a google images search threw up an image of a painted version with the title "Chaos Sorcerer of Malal". The tab has Marauder and 1994(?) on it. Can anyone assist?

Was Marauder, but may have never seen release with Marauder since they re-merged with Citadel in 1994. This is from the 1997 annual.

Yeah it's a bog standard 5th ed chaos sorcerer.

Unless you don't want him to be and paint him up as a sorcerer of Malal.

I'm sure we all agree he should be allowed to choose himself and not be constrained by expectations of those who moulded him!

I don't know about that, I'm pretty sure that by the time 5th ed rolled around, chaos was following strict standards for arms, equipment, and uniforms. We wouldn't want to upset the order of Chaos...
