Snotling Blood Bowl Team WIP

I have had this Snotling Blood Bowl team for years now. It was painted in 2008 and the photos are from that time.

They are clearly inspired by my all time favourite Blood Bowl team - The Death Wish.

I still think they look good enough for gaming, but the bases was never finished.

Not so long time ago I dug them out again and they are currently standing around waiting to get their bases done and maybe a slight update on the paintjob.

And of course I will need to take some new and better photos.

I present them here after getting inspired by seing Axioms Snotling team and hopefully I will get around to finish them and maybe play a few games some day.

A very nice team (did you use 25mm bases for the snotlings? They look so small).
The blue is slightly disturbing on the snotlings but the right colour for a proper troll.

I used 20mm bases for the snotlings. From Em4 miniatures if I remember correct.

I always thought blue was the right Blood Bowl Snotling colour. Right from the back of the Starplayer book.

I know they are "greenskins" and all, but back in the days Orcs where brown, Hobgoblins where orange, Trolls where all the colours of the rainbow. The term greenskin is really raken lightly in my book.

Great looking team Jonas, four trolls in one pic is always impressive!

I dig the blue snotlings- having painted up a heap of Deathskull Orks and a couple of their grot assistants blue.

I actually have one more troll painted, but he never made it to any photo session.

Just one more reason to get the team finushed I would say

Currently I am painting Rogue Trader Orks and one got a blue facepaint too. I was never a big fan of the Ork clan stuff, so my Orks will just be a bunch of nasty paramilitary raiders.

These are great, I love 'em.
Also, they're totally playable as an Ogre team, using the Trolls as Ogres.
It makes so much more sense to field Snots and Trolls than it makes to field Snots and Ogres anyway.

I plan to play by the old rules anyway. I never tried the new ones, so I have no idea if they are good. But I only have good memories of playing the old rules as a kid.
