Slapchopin' My Way To Success.

As a younger painter I never really got more than a Blood Bowl teams worth of models completed. Simply, I got painting fatigue, anything more than a few models was just a massive chore. Correcting, correcting and correcting mistake after mistake, then in the end it was never what I wanted and I was pretty bored of going over the same thing. I tried again as an adult and it still happens, but now I care less. Since I discovered Slapchop mixed with cellshading, sometimes I can push out whole armies of models in a few weeks. I still do paint in a more traditional method, but now I also compliment that by using the Slapchop as a guide.
So here I present my quick guide on Slapchopin some Dark Elves.

First the easy part, a black undercoat, followed by a heavy grey and then a lighter white drybrush.

There is some overspray on the model, but I've rather run with it.

I followed this up with contrast purple on the armour areas I wanted to pick out.

Then added some contrast green for the skin, I'm going for a more traditional look for this Dark Elf with green skin tones.

I've also added contrast skeleton horde on the skulls, some lead belcher on silver areas.

The armour is simply contrast basilicanum and the lighter coloured area contrast pink.
Boots are again contrast but this time snakebite leather.

I've then added in a few little touches, like the eyes and added a wash to the lead belcher. Nothing fancy, as this is just going to be a mass of rank and file.
