Search for art print of Warhammer or Mordheim art

Hi,

I hope I can open this topic here.

I am searching for art prints like the cover of the slaves to darkness or the lost and the damned.

The "vision of Mordheim"of Geoff Taylor would also be nice.
i think the original drawings are by far out of my budget.

Is there a legal way to purchase one, or a printable jpg with which i could order a fine art print. I am searching for a present for a friend.

thanks

I know I've received prints directly from the artists at cons. You might try seeing if you can get in contact with the artist or his agent too.

This is helpful, but unfortunately there are not so many cons in Germany where artist like Geoff Taylor are available.

Do you know where I can find there contact data?

Thanks for your help

Mr Taylor can be reached at http://www.geofftaylor-artist.com. He has a ton of gw art for sale, but none too cheaply :).
Great thank you, I sent him a mail if he offers art prints, but I believe the rights for that lies with GW.

I love the old rule books, but today i went through the seventh and eith edition rulebooks and I have to say I love those many many great whole page artworks. I thought about selling them, but now I won't.

They might not. During the Chapterhouse case, it was learned that GW didn't properly license a lot of the art they used. The only right they had were to use it (first), while many authors actually retained ownership.

If he does sell prints, please post here to let us know--I would love some of that (the High Elf stuff from around 4th edition) but the originals are way out of my price range.

Yeah. I'd love to have the 4th ed box artwork as a print. I don't see myself splashing £8000 on it though. =D

Today I got the sad answer. He does not have the right to sell art pritns, but he liked very much the positive feedback.

Ok who wants to make a gift of 5000£ to me? ;)
