Scenic bits for 40k 2nd

Good stuff. These are quite inspiring.
I've been wondering about various cliff bits for a while. I wanted to do some steep mountain pieces for ambush type scenarios and reminiscent of the bits GW did for the dwarfs in WD, but also some wind swept pillars. Although having been listening to Dark Future stuff recently I had in mind more of a US midwest desert colour palette. Now seeing yours I'm wondering if I need to add even more mountain terrain to the wish list.
That 2nd Ed style terrain does bring back such strong memories even though we were still doing more RT stuff in that period I guess I was reading WD so soaking in all those bright green jungles and colours!

I absolutely love the Dark Future story podcasts, far and away my favourite, both in terms of storytelling and setting.
I loved the weird disconnect (especially in the 40k red era) between combat between the various terrifying forces of the 41st Millennium and fact that they were usually photographed fighting in lovely picturesque meadows, with neatly tended grass and copses of trees under a bright blue sky. Bit more uplifting than the ever more grimdark direction all the current setting portray ( which is usually some hellish variation on the Western Front or Stalingrad).
