RT/2d Ed orks (p. 8, freebooter possessed warphead)

Re: Orjetax's RT/2d Ed orks (LE 22 Bazooka orcs on p. 6)

Haha, those made my day! So great! +5 points in Charm!

Re: Orjetax's RT/2d Ed orks (LE 22 Bazooka orcs on p. 6)

After being busy with life and not getting much painted, I cranked out another pair of LE 22 bazooka orcs.

I suppose I'm going back to the trough here a bit early, but dang, these are fun and quick (and unusual) models to paint.

Re: RT/2d Ed orks (update p. 7)

Loving your old RT/2nd Edition Orks, they were a great range of models and great to paint. You're making good progress and they are looking good. I enjoyed painting up my Bazooka Orcs too, they are fun quirky miniatures.
Look forward to seeing more of your Orks :)

Awesome, these guys are great. Would love to see you field them against an Empire steam tank.

It's funny . . . I've never had much inkling for fantasy, but I remember seeing advertisements for that model and thinking it was mindblowingly cool.

Cheers, Goblinlee. Thanks for the comments. I think I've seen your bazooka orcs in fact . . . You posted them on your blog a couple months back maybe?

I'm slow but steady. Maybe I'll even have as many painted greenskins as you do, one day.
I will just need to figure out how to live until I'm 250 years old or so.

Re: RT/2d Ed orks (update p. 7)

@Orjetax Yes, I think I did post them a while back.
Steady painting is good, whats important is the end result and the fun of getting them done.

@ Count Von Bruno
thank you!
Mind you my output was been poor in the last month due to work and lack of focus :( but sure that will change soon :)

Re: RT/2d Ed orks (update p. 7)

Quick update, with two more RT orks.

I wasn't a huge fan of these sculpts when I first sat down to paint them, but they grew on me quite a bit actually.

Re: RT/2d Ed orks (update p. 7)

Thanks guys.

No doubt that 'Mr. Kil' there is my favorite of the two.

Truth is, you can never have too many orks smoking cigars . . .

Re: RT/2d Ed orks (update p. 7)

Been much too long since I've gotten something painted!

But here's the MM20 Marauder space ork.

Funny, but until I had the model in hand I had no idea that its proportions were more on the realistic (Erm, realistic for an ork?) side. He's positively pin-headed compared to the other (later, I think) maruader space orks.

Re: RT/2d Ed orks (update p. 8, MM20 space ork)

The white gloves on the Commissorks are great; I love the little story they suggest.

Re: RT/2d Ed orks (update p. 8, MM20 space ork)

Space Orks in the way they should be. I cannot stand their modern ancestors.

For sure.

Indeed! More sense of humor. Less "S-backed anonymous barbarians."

I do like the new vehicles better for the most part though.
