Coming out of Black Shuck (Ben) post on his goblin basing, it ended up talking about old Citadel base trays which were 3 small round bases which went in a 20x60mm movement tray like base to help with lining up or something. anyway.. didn't take long to sort out a design

Two types. One appears much more correct to the original in that the small bases (which are bloody small being 15mm rounds) which are bevelled along with the tray. This does mean that you can't really take the bases out of the tray because the figure will probably overhang the 15mm space, and they need to have the base inserted from underneath.
The second type does NOT have bevelled bases so the tray can be loaded from the top and figures easily removed.
If requested, I can easily (cause it's just sooo bloody simple) create a laser cut pattern for the second type but.. it's just 15mm circles and a 20x60mm rectangle with holes..
I think you can probebly buy 15mm bases so that makes that bit easier. These are slotta designed ones but It's not had to make up some without slotta slots if asked. The surface texture isn't included by the way. My printers bed is pretty good for grip and gives this pretty nice texture, which can be annoying if you want it perfectly flat but.. not that often it is required. So I just printed these upside down for a few reasons and the texture was one of them.
I've attached the zip file which has the 4 stls for anyone that wants to use them. No reselling or anything without permission but it's not like they are complex models. I'll probably put them on my little bloggy thing I've started when I get around to it. If they are of use to anyone, great, if not, oh well ^_^ nothing lost in making them.
