I'm slowly working through my leadpile whilst trying not to add too much to it and am just about painting two or three figures for every one I buy so hopefully, I will be able to clear it all out by the end of the year!

Good luck with that pledge, I've given up trying to regulate my painting and purchase balance! Lovely warbands though, the Ork Goffs take me back...

Very cool warbands. I like the use of robot big guys - the Pirate's one is brilliant. Where is that brown armoured bearded freelancer model from?

Hi!

Thanks for the comments folks! I have plans for about another dozen warbands as well as reinforcements for my current ones with the aim of having roughly 10-12 figures each with one or two small vehicles as well.

I have noticed that painting the older figures in my collection is more fun than the newer stuff. Yes the detail is often a little ropey and the sculpts a little more stylised but they almost seem to paint themselves!

Here's the latest addition to my Catachans:



He's originally a Void 1.1 Viridian Commando but he looks the business as a heavy for my Catachans and I love the multi barrelled heavy bolter. I do hope to field heavy weapons that are a bit more portable than the 2nd edition Imperial Guards rather daft wheeled contraptions!
