I am aware of the errata in WD96 and WD97 and the revised points values in The Book of the Astronomicon. I am uninterested in publications that go far beyond that. I know later revisions changed a tonne of stuff.
In an effort to refresh some old skills I have started to implement a Rogue Trader personality generator in software. I knew there were a load of mistakes, misprints and ambiguities in the book but there are even more than I remembered.
Some of it is fairly trivial. I assume distort fields (page 145) are refractor fields.
But would you price lethal and paralysing needle pistol chemicals separately? Why else call out the chemicals as a separate points cost (page 59) on page 144? When you roll a needle pistol do you automatically give both at 1pt each, or randomly determine the chemicals? See pages 58, 59, 73 & 144 for a lack of details.
So, has any fan group with a bent towards the role playing side of the game has already gone through it all with a fine tooth comb and answered these kinds of questions?
