Rogue Trader: Eldar Void Watchers

Here the first eldar of my Void Watchers warband. I remember when I saw for the first time the eldars. They were in the expansion of Space Crusade. At that time I didn't know that under thair helm they were space elves, and their armor had an alien look that intrigued me... I never liked the new design of the eldars (especially the guardians) from the 4rd edition until now. Initially I considered to paint my eldar warband with the space crusade paint scheme (alaitoc craftworld), but I found the paint scheme of the Void Watchers really interesting, and I did not see anybody to use it, then I chose it ;)

Very nice indeed. Good choice based off that artwork, a throwback to Space Crusade is always fun to see! With your skill in punchy colour schemes I am looking forward to this warband growing.

Thanks :)
Yellow and green are two of my favourite colors
Then it was easy to chose this Void Watchers paint scheme ;)
In my facebook topic about the Void Watchers eldar, Tony Hough sent a reply including a picture of his Eldar Rearguard the digital re-colour of his original monochrome artwork for Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader.

Great work, I'm always a fan of older models being inspired by and painted in, the same scheme/style as the iconic artwork.

Another Void Watchers Eldar I painted, the captain of the squad.
A curiosity, I only painted 5 eldars considering this last one in all these years ;)

Lovely work. I'm a big fan of the old type shrunken catapult on the right. I keep trying to spell shuriken but the spell check keeps interfering.

These are really great mate! I absolutely love this colour scheme! It is definitely a force that wouldn't look out of place in the gaming tables of 1988!! Top stuff! Let's see some more!
