Rogue Trader book: hardback/softback - differences?

Hello.

I'm trying to find a hard copy of the Rogue Trader book for the awesome oldhammer40k games. I see there is a softback and a hardback version, there are any differences? Here in Spain we had a translated version, published by Alfil in 198x (softback only), and says "2ª edición" (2nd edition) in the cover, but I don't know what it means. Are there two RT editions?

(My apologies for any mistake in my written English)

I think the hardback was the original and the softback the second edition, but I don't think there are any differences beyond the binding.

Yeah, there's no difference. My mate had the hardback & I've got the softback. For durability I prefer the softback as the binding is better. Not sure in Spanish though...... You'd think it would be the same.

Yep, I can confirm that, there were two editions of RT in Spanish, but more like a re-imprint than a real '2nd edition', no differences at all (I have the first one -softback, don't really think hardback made it into Spanish- and some mates the second and we could not find any real difference at all).
