Rob_S Chaos Warband Challenge WIP

Not a whole lot to report. I have a paint scheme inmind and all the mini's arrived in the mail. I drilled out some eye stalks and used pinning "rod" for eye stalks. The green stuff didn't really get where I wanted and I am thoroughly unconvinced by the eyestalks at the moment. I lack conversion skills.

Any tips on eyestalks would be appreciated. Fingers crossed they look OK onced primed.

I figured I would give the brass rod, or whatever the pinning stuff is made from, a go. It was handy. If it looks awful I will look for alternatives. I am thinking about doing them up crab like with the black dot at the end. Might make some progress on these during the week.

I figured I would get back to basics with photographing my minis and took them outside for some daylight. Here's the current progress.

they look great, love the skin tones, great set of minis

That's some very nice painting indeed.

As for the eye-stalks, I would have taken a drill to the eyes before sticking in the stalks to hollow out some empty sockets.
