I'm sure most of you will know of Richard through his Stuff of Legends site. I knew he had some serious health issues, but sadly I've just found out that he passed away on the 1st.
The new book featuring his collection is surely a fitting tribute.

That is sad news. That's one hell of a collection his family will be dealing with. My condolences to his friends and family.
I suppose on a selfish note I do fear for the death of his website in due course, I did try reaching out earlier in the year asking about mirroring it (it's currently on IONOS (1&1)), but didn't manage to get very far alas. I don't like just mirroring mirroring and I'm assuming under the hood the data is much better structured.

The website is such a useful resource and really can’t be allowed to disappear. Not the time to raise now, but am on the FB group where Robin announced the news, so can raise concerns when things have settled.
