Ramshacle Vehicles

In my quest to finish unfinished projects I recently stumbled upon some vehicles I had lying around. I finished and updated a bit last year and this year I continue the project with a couple of vehicles from Ramshackle Games.

The Badger with my water truck.

I gave them both some pretty quick and dirty paintjobs, but considering the sculpts and what I am going to use them for (40K skirmish/Post Apocalypse) I think the paintjobs suits them very well and I am pleased with the outcome.

Also, let's face it, the Iron Grumbler has the looks of a 40K Rhino. So before people ask I already took a scale shot. The Iron Grumbler is quite the brute compared to the old Rhino, but I would have no problem fielding it as a Rhino or reinforced Rhino.

Nice set o' wheels there, I particularly like the water truck though - is that from a kit or a scratch build? If its scratch built any pointers you can give on what you used would be valued ;)

It is a Ramshackle Truck with an added water tank from Ramshackle Games too. The tank can be bought from the parts section.

Thanks for the comparison shot in particular. I've been looking at the Iron Grumbler off and on. Knew it was bigger. Wow that thing is huge! (For when you need to move a full platoon in one neat package.)

Everyone loves space cacti  I get more comment on those than on my miniatures, when I post on facebook or my blog. Hahahaha

The space cacti are the highlight ;)

Nice work on these. The water truck looks good. Not sure about the other vehicles(in terms of the models) but they look effective enough painted up! Good work.

i like the grumbler and the water truck. the badger is the wrong scale IMO.

but the paintjobs and the inspiration are spot on!

What is Ryza Rust? I have a bit of rust on them, but only sporadic.
It's a gw "technical paint" that is thick and bright orange, designed to be dry-brushed on. It has its uses, but isn't great.

Ok, sorry, then I am off. I never buy from GW anymore. I want to be sure to be able buy the products I use in the future too.
