Rally round the king - two hour wargames

Has anyone bought/used/read these rules?
I bought Warrior Heroes Legends last year but I wasn't impressed with the writing style, as it made understanding the basic rules very difficult.
So before I lay out 17 quid on a PDF I wondered if any other forum members have given the rules a try and could offer some opinions.

Perhaps at the end of the month. I'll see if those links you posted can convince me
