Until Obscure Creator makes a full wide range ;), I've found myself looking for proxies for the RT bestiary.

The first thing I thought of when I saw wonderful 'space wasps' from here (Akula's Galactic Armies) was 'Psychneuein'.

I didn't think I was capable of making a black/yellow scheme work here, so I went for the easy solution, brownscale :grin:.

Of course, though I'm talking about Rogue Trader, these lovely, scaring bugs can make their way into any ambientation:

I have a Psychenneuin (how the hell do you spell that? Or even say it?) proxy from Reaper Bones due later this year, but these beat it.

Fantastic work, I am copying this 100%.

I actually already have a painted Pshychneuein... Mine is a Wargames Supply Dump Giant Wasp, I just haven't posted any photos yet.

You have to be fast these day, to be the first to capture photos of the rare Rogue Trader critters ;)

Thank you! Jonas, can't wait to see your bugs! I purchased some other things from Akula: some not-Dune civilians and a few dogs tha eventually will be turned into Astral Hounds :roll:

Akulas "dogs" do look good. My old Dark Eldar warp beasts serve as my Astral Hounds, but I think that I will paint up a few Akula dog things just as predatorial alien things.
