Okay, I don't use the stuff, and don't sculpt enough to be worth trying too much different from what I'm trying my little tests with but.. right, there is alot of talk about there being some problems... Not with the stuff itself but with what is going on.
After a bit of work I think I can kinda say what is going on for people who don't know but might want to know.
ProCreate (which is a name also being used by some digital app company) was a Sculptors putty which unlike alot of them (Multiput or Green stuff mostly) was created TO be for sculpting, more then that being a happy feature.
It was produced by 'The Kraftmark Company' in the USA. In 2022 they had to put the price up slighting increase cost in raw materials though I think there was a few more issues which had been going for a little bit.
ProCreate Putty was then marked as 'All Production of it is Suspended for the time being'. (Not date stated for this)
On the 31st December 2023, the Kraftmark Company ceased all operations and closed up shop, though appear to still be paying for their website.
On 23rd July 2024, Timothy Mayer, the Owner of Kraftmark posted a reply on his website that ProCreate putty has been discontinued.
Their Facebook page no longer exists.
So unless someone wants to get in contact with the guy (and there are a couple of ways that look possible) and find some way to making it themselves as a business, there has been no ProCreate created since July 2024 (most likely 2023).
For people who prefer it as a major sculpting putty, and I know of a number of people who do, sad to say they won't have an option soon when the final supplies dry up.
I hope this has brought some (though probebly not good) closure to the issue.
