On blog feeds and forum posts

I'm loving the influx of new blogs to the feed! However after the discussion about what direction the forum is moving http://forum.oldhammer.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4828 .
I was wondering what thoughts are for us bloggers? I personally want to contribute and add substance to the forum. I'm just wondering if the feeds are creating the substance to the forum we are all looking for?

I don't want to get into crossposting, were my forum self and blog self become stretched and irrelevant. So I guess I just want to know if the feeds are good enough for you guys?
Or would you like us bloggers to post actual posts on here that are different from our blogs?

Well, I can only speak for myself.

My blog isn't tied into the Forum feed.
I post stuff on the forum that is largely discussive and collaborative - because forums are good for that!
I use the blog for slightly more thought out, long winded stuff.

So I post different content in different places for different reasons.

more thought out
Well, it's all relative. ;)

Spot on though... I use my blog as a centralised repository of pics of painted miniatures. I use the forums for discussion, WIP-waffling and trading.

I usually have one or two things that are "exclusive" to a blog post or update to one of my modelling threads here on the forum so if you've seen one you haven't necessarily seen it all.

Zhu's right though.

To avoid copy-pasting I develop my idea on the blog where formatting is easier and tendto post pictures only here. Tha tsaid I use dthis place more to talk and discuss points than to actually show anything and it's the group projects I like more about this place.

I'd really want to make RoC charts for Malal and Zuvassin and some for the Gods of Law and here is the only place it can happen !

If my blog posts are relevant to Oldhammer I tend to post it here too, sometimes only the pictures. I think the feedback in a forum post is better than on the blog.

Also i don't always go to the blog roll to look.

I like when people post their interesting blog content here as well.

Especially as the volume of interesting blogs increases, I'm less inclined to pursue every new update in the news feed.
