Oldschool Siege Dreadnought

I begun this project a few days back. I'm hoping he'll turn out sufficiently "sieged up" by the end of the build.

Cheers :)

May I just add that a big super sledgehammer would be most welcome, you know, when you need to crush those stone medieval walls down...

And for the other hand a simple wrecking ball (and chain).
That claw is flimsy and someting only Eldar would use.
How about adding a retractable ladder to it's back with a platform and boarding plank?
The pilot would have to move offcenter though.

Super sledge could work?

As far as the claw looking a bit flimsy, I agree, it does, but I think it needs something to grasp things with. I'm not sure that I'd like to have two pulverising implements on the end of each limb, but I may change my mind as the project evolves.

I'll probably fit a ladder to it, but I'll place it off centre instead of the operator.....a lot less work doing it that way. I might even just place rungs along the back of his legs & torso? So his friendly siege companions can ascend up him & onto the battlements.

Thanks for the input guys, always welcome :)

It is actually not so bad and gives the design a nice weird touch.

You are right. Spare the ball and chain idea fo the second unit ;)
(and the third gets a huge crushing claw...)

This might work as it would visually balance the sledge hammer out. I still think that the white tophatch thingy should move slightly off center too though.

Sounds good. Rusty rungs with some blood where a climber got caught in the leg joints.
