Oldhammer Weekend: What is actually happening on the days?

With less than a month to go it would probably be sensible to update the advertising we have up on our blogs. A lot of us have a page with vague gaming info written on and the 'semi legal stuff' thanks to Gaj but it would be useful to list what is actually going. If I was a gamer interested in making the journey and deciding whether to bother bother or not, knowing that there is plenty to see and do would certainly change my mind.

So the purpose of this thread is to explain what you're doing on the days. I don't mean those of you just hanging around and enjoying the show, i am talking about those of you who are going to be putting on a game for others to watch or even contribute to. Tell me what armies you are fielding with your opponent, where your minis come from ( if poss), the rules you have chosen to use and the type of game: demonstration or participation.

I'll have a go and show you what i mean.

Hi, i'm running the RoC game. Slaanesh vs Khorne. 3rd edition rules and RoC. Loads of different styles of minis from old school to current ranges. Participation event. Just bring your warband.

I can then type everything up and update the advert pages so folks can get a general idea of what they can expect to see.

I'll be running Orc's Drift both days.

I figured I'd devote a slot to each scenario so it should look like this

Saturday am - Kachas Pass
Can the Vile Rune Tribe crush the Wood elf garrison guarding the Kachas Pass? What skulduggery will the Half Orc spy, Silas Meel get up to?

Saturday pm - Ashak Rise
Will the Dwarf Deserters escape with the gold and their lives as the Severed Hand Tribe sweep down from the Northland wastes to rendezvous with King F'yar's gathering army.

Sunday am - Linden Way
The Linden Way Militia are one of the last line of defense. The Kwae Karr Orcs have been ordered to destroy the garrison before meeting up with the rest of F'yar's army.

Sunday pm - Orc's Drift
Outmanoeuvred by King F'yar, the Grand League finds their rear threatened by the Orc army whilst Goblin Tribes beset the bulk of their forces at Ortar in the East. Nothing stands before the vulnerable capital city, Palesandre and F'yar's ravening horde other than Ozrim's Dwarf Engineers and Brommedir's Elf Bows. Will Ramalia fall or will the uneasy alliance between Dwarf and Elf hold...

I'll be providing all the minis and using the 2nd ed. rules. It is a participation game and looks like there might be some spaces left for the Sunday, especially for the final scenario.

If I can get someone to steward either Saturday pm or Sunday am I hope to join in with the Rumble in the Jungle, but I'll let Padre talk about that.
