Oldhammer group on DA

I've created the OldhammerArt Group on DA (Zhu should be be the co-founder): http://oldhammerart.deviantart.com/
There are some oldhammer pictures yet in DA so I sent an invite to these painters to add their pictures in the group.
I could ask too if some oldhammer painters that have not a DA account want to share their paint jobs too.
I never created a DA group so it is still under construction. Any suggestions will be welcome and of course the gallery is open to any oldhammer guys

Yeah, lets spread the Oldhammer word all over the net.

I've set up (another!) DA account just for my Oldhammering paint jobs, and requested to join the group. If you would be so kind as to accept I would be honoured

Ta!

Do I have to upload images fresh to DA or can I link them in from elsewhere (ie. my own domain)?

Note : no criticism intended, just curiosity to understand.

What is the goal of a group on DA ? There are already this forum, some Facebook groups, a Google+ page, etc...

And what do we saw on all of them is the exact same thing again and again, the same blog posts advertised the same way, the same pictures, the same question, the same folk responding to question, etc...

Personally I would encourage people to use the same tools/platforms to have information centralized (and this was the goal of this forum) in a central (sic) place, where the information stays and is easily found...

Anyways anything that promotes Oldhammer is probably a good thing ;)

Some of the oldhammer pictures available in DA are not available elsewhere, for example.
And collect these pictures in a gallery group is easier for consultation.
The final goal is simple: to find and collect in the group the dispersed images of oldhammer works available in DeviantArt.
Most of these pictures are hidden in bigger galleries of GW groups or lost in the vastness of the DA pages.
In DA there are many warhammer groups, but none is focused on oldhammer (and I'm tired of see just thousand of new citadel models).

I think Katsuhiko JiNNai said it best. The aim isn't really to duplicate what people already do on their blogs, here, LAF, Facebook, Google+ but to gather the people who are already on DA and have an interest in Oldhammer Art. Of course, people are welcome to post there, but I don't think we expect or want a mass exodus or duplication of painting logs to DA from those other places.

Also there is no real 'discussion' forum on DA, so in terms of Q&A, mini idents / valuations, rules queries, scenario development, it's not going to take away, or add to that.
