Finally finished off the 11 players for my Dark Elf team last night. A few coaches/cheerleaders and a display board still to do, but at last I can show off the playing squad in glorious technicolour!

I do like them A LOT, the more I see them, the more they seem to pop up from a Blanche drawing... that and the 100% Goddwin origins is a definite WIN for me. The last 3 models and the afro dark elf lineman are absolute hits in terms of pose and look. Efforts did pay on this team.

now get on with the brats... :grin:
 
Not technically 100% Goodwin - there's 3 Perry heads (and a hand and some pads), a Diaz torso/head, and a Morrison arm in the mix. Hopefully not too tainted ;)

Glad you like them - it's been a long time getting these guys finished.

As for the Bratts...you might not be waiting too long ;)
 
Perry, DIaz and Morrison, I don't see any sane hobbyist complaining about these names so it's OK ;)
Damn you really got me back on th eGoodwin lane, I hopefully have some sorcerors and ogres of him yet unpainted...

You working on the brats again is good news, we definitely need some gangs with "attitude" to dwell with the sensei bands, venators and scavvies of late.
 
That team is a thing of beauty, really wonderful: retro but not rustic. Badass.

I really hope that your Brats are next if they end up looking as good as this team. I dont remember ever seeing a fully painted, decently sized Brat gang. Judging by the Dark Elves you seem to have a flair for painting good looking folk with a sense of entitlement, so the Brats should be sublime :)

Exceptional work. Well done.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. The team was a very long time in the planning - I actually did the first model several years ago, and it's great to get them finished and that you all like them :)

I can show you a sizeable Bratt gang (JB's already shared the link), but am lacking the first key criterion ;)
 
Godsdamnit, that's one fine looking team. Kudos for letting the Oldbowl flag fly!
I have to say, though, assuming a TR of 110, that's a pretty gutsy roster. No twelfth player? Well, no matter the score at least you can always say that your team looked better than the opposition.
 
Yeah, I'm still debating the set up. The team is for a resurrection 105k tournament rather than a league. I do wonder whether to try & squeeze an apothecary/reserve in...not sure what to drop though :)
 
105? That's just 1 RR, then. I'd go with the 4 Blitzers, 1 Bitch-Elf, 7 Linos. Or take a gamble with the medic instead of 7th lino to accomodate one or two Runners.
