OldBowl Chaos Dwarfs

There's a Blood Bowl league coming up at my local game store (The day after tomorrow in fact!) and I just barely managed to assemble enough models for a proper team. I've been painting them the past couple days and thought I'd show my progress a bit. It's nothing really special yet as I'm still in the base coating stage but I will definitely post some more as they come along.

The models I'm using for this team are:
5 different 2nd edition chaos dwarfs
1 3rd edition hobgoblin
1 1st edition goblin (Hobb The Gob)
2 1st edition Orcs (As hobgoblins)
2 Hthark the Unstoppable 3rd edition models for Bull Centaurs

And I have 1 2nd edition minotaur who will be used later on in the league. I'll probably need to get a couple more hobgoblins as well as I think 4 is probably not going to be enough.

I wrote a WIP post on my blog, so if it's okay I'll link that here.

Also, I still don't have a team name yet. Any suggestions?

xD that made me laugh. Chaos smurfs... that's a scary thought.

Ididn't mention it but you are mixing some very different ranges of models here, I'm really intersted in seeing how it will tie with this unifies paintscheme. I went on the blog and I see there are some pretty good things ahead .

Those 2nd edition Chaos Dwarfs are my favourites - so characterful! My team stalled because I struggled to find hobgoblins I wanted to use. The 1st ed orcs is a good idea though

I love those Chaos Dwarfs, been wanting a set for awhile. But I couldn't work out what to use as Hobbos, My best idea was Chaos Goblins but didn't want to cut them up, and my centaurs would be the Boarcentaurs from the Whirlwind/jugga ect.

Just finished my first match yesterday. Was up against my friend who converted a skaven team from the Island of Blood minis so I didn't feel too bad about not having them completely painted as his weren't either. (Actually most of the teams are unpainted it looks like. )

Anyways, I put up a report of the game on my blog and a few pictures of the game which I tried to make as entertaining as I could. Oh and I used Four Feet of Chaos, Asslessman. Thanks!

Bit more done. I probably won't get to paint much more until next week because I'm going to Las Vegas in a couple days, but I'm pretty excited to get them finished asap.
