Ol' miniatures shoppe in London

Hi.
Does a similar thing exist? I mean a physical shop dealing in vintage miniatures, preferably Citadel: a friend of mine is planning a vacation trip and is looking for a place to annoy the wife with:lol:
Thanks for your inputs

I haven't visited for a number of years, but Orcs Nest often used to have painted old miniatures for sale in their display window. Sometimes there would be some unpainted ones in their "wazz bin" too.

It's near Covent Garden and other tourist hotspots. The Forbidden Planet shop is nearby too.

Thank you so much! Very happy to know that the Orcs Nest of WD fame is still in business!

Yep old Orcs Nest is still going strong, bit more cramped and much more focused on board games and RPGs than in their old-old shop, but they still have a some blisters models and bits and pieces along with more quirky bits for sale in the window. I pop in for nostalgia's sake when passing through London. They still do their orc mugs which are a staple for my morning coffee! Given as Sade said Forbidden Planet is just round the corner and Foyles (bookshop) is nearby too it's well worth a quick visit.

Otherwise Leisure Games (also of old White Dwarf advert fame) is still going, but that's not in central London (In Finchley North London). Dark Sphere are in Shepherds Bush, but I think their Waterloo shop is now closed. Neither carries particularly old stuff as I recall. Obviously for modern citadel stuff, there are a few Games Workshop stores around - good sized one on Tottenham Court road these days (has a giant plushie Nugling and Griffon in the window!)

I'm saying... the white one... looks to me like coffee stains.. coffee isn't a drink.. it's a favour only ^_^ the stuff that looks like stripper should be safe

Whenever I go in there I mean to pick up one of those mugs. …

Last few times I’ve been they’ve not had any painted minis in the window. Blisters and boxes upstairs are mainly period minis, and they have small paint section on the ground floor.

In the past (last 5 years) I’ve pick up a few second hand oldhammer minis from them - there are any in the shop when you visit they are usually near to the paints (in baggies in a card box). Good hunting!
