Oh my ogre! UPDATED

Hi guys, I just wanted to show you, my Jes Goodwin ogre from 1982(I think heh). He is a unit filler in my plastic marauder regiment. I have allways had a love for old miniatures and actually I didn't know there was other people like me until I stumbled upon this forum. I feel home here and I look forward to many a years of "foruming" with you guys .

I went for the brown, dirty thug feel.

Feel free to comment and criticize . And sorry for the giant pics , i will try to fix this next time i post.

He's wonderful... and the big pictures suit my terrible eyesight, hehe. Your style is subtle and effective, i like his warty lumps and his bottle of plonk.

I want one to go with my Jes Goodwin barbarians now... someone gimme!!

I am a huge fan of Jes goodwin Ogres and youve painted this one up very nicely. Sweet base as well. Is it 60mm, because if so thats some unit filler!

Thanks guys . He is on a 50mmx50mm base so he fills for 4 25mm guys.

Great job. Surely you now have to post a picture of him with the rest of the regiment just to prove old is best. Beauty and the beasts so to speak.

Great job indeed!
I can't even tell whether what's on the base is a piece of painted styrofoam or some actual organic material.
I also like the way you've made dirty browns such as the Ogre's vest and his club uniquely different. That's something I have trouble with and I hate it when my guys' gloves and club are the exact same color..

Great ogre. The skin tones are really nice and I love the details on the bottle of rotgut on his belt.

Thanks for all the comments guys! The base is made our of chalk stone i carved.
Here he is with his plastic marauders + an old sorcerer. I tried to keep them dirty, simple and horde-like.
Most of them were rushed , it was simply to boring to paint these plastic models heh.
Comments and criticism is very welcome .
