He may not be Olley, but hopefully he looks the part now:

And finally Newhammer George, with his Oldhammer Ogryny bud Little Milton. (Whose best friend is a halfling, but hey, it's a weird world.)

If you missed the WIP thread you can see the build in condensed form in Oh Olley Oh Grin. All in all I must say I'm pretty happy with this one. Happier than with my Slann conversions thus far. Maybe I'll get the hang of this yet.

Mighty fine job, SP! Any softness in the sculpt is of no concern now when it's painted and ready for action! Looks great!

You're right about the softness, but making it busier with more small details seemed to help mask it, and cutting cured green stuff led to fairly hard edges. Further, it seemed to me that I could get harder edges on thinner layers of green stuff. I still think I want to try some milliput and some mixtures, but I may have an idea how to make harder edged "techy" stuff with GS now. It may not be a perfect material, and it certainly takes a little getting used to, but kneadtite really isn't had stuff. Actually looking forward to the next sculpting project, whatever that may be. Baby steps.

Hmm, sculpt Newhammer George's baby ogryn son then . . . or Newhammer George as a baby? Maybe a little too weird? Anyway I'd like to see Little Milton's best friend too; they'd make quite a pair.

Thank you Protist. This project has been much better received than I could have hoped.

A young ogryn . . . hmm . . . that's not a bad idea.

Anyway, ask and ye shall receive. Here's Little Milton with his best bud Walther. They've been exploring an abandoned research site.
