The chap standing in front of the marine in the last picture in that post is 5' 7", which gives you an idea of the scale.

One of my a_level kids made an iron man costume for his project last year. He got his picture in the national press. I think the folks on the above forum gave him a lot of help. He was also responsible for some of the scenery pieces that ramshackle games put out when he was in year 11.
