Nightmare 2044 - Oldhammer-inspired Noblebright.

So it's mostly inspired by early depictions of Orks and Ian Miller's illustration. It also addresses the problem where as time progresses humans become the good guys since it's more like conventional fantasy with good guys and bad guys.

There's an enlightened noble human republic and lots of backwards human empires that don't want to join it which are easy prey for predatory alien species, the vilest of which are Orcs of the Empire of Fash - a massive conglomerate of fascist planets inhabited by Orcs.

Orcs of the Empire of Fash are vile inhuman monsters. They engage in endless wars and raid weaker human territories to capture slaves.

Orcs were the first alien species subjected to Edict of Annihilation. While the Republic usually tries to sign peace treaties with alien species, the inhuman depravity of Orcs marked them for extermination.

Edict of Annihilation was issued by the Republic’s government after the discovery of Starvation Camps. It was discovered that orcs don’t care even of their own and hate the sick and the infirm and the disabled and want them dead. These monsters sent any Orc or slave or that can’t work to specified standards to the Starvation Camps to die a slow, painful death.

The Orcs captured in starvation camps liberated by forces of the Space Republic fanatically refused food, saying they are useless failures and losers and that they don’t want to be a burden. This trait of the Orcs turned out to be incorrigible, marking them as monsters and abominations.

Thus wars against Orcs are fought until annihilation, and rightfully so for they are the vilest species.

Orcs of the Empire of fash were known for keeping disabled members of their species and disabled prisoners in death camps where they are starved to death.

It’s because orcs are subhuman monsters devoid of humanity.

That orc unit was captured by Republican forces liberating an orc occupied planet. Republican soldiers proceeded to eradicate that subhuman filth to cleanse that world of evil.

Orcs of the Empire of Fash were known for keeping disabled members of their species and disabled prisoners in death camps where they are starved to death.

They also consider disabled people to be “failures” and “inadequate”.

Of course, the good, humane soldiers of the Space Republic are outraged by vileness of these subhuman monsters and slaughter them without mercy.

In this picture a Republic unit is disposing of orc prisoners. As a form of ironic justice, they chop off limbs of these animals and make them run away from a slowly moving scout vehicle. They jeer at them and mock them as failures and inadequate and as they run them down.

When the vehicle catches up with them they slow down and mock the screaming animals to by telling them to stop blaming them for their problems and to clean up their rooms instead of screaming.

Then everyone cheers because extermination of that inhuman filth made the world better.

Some “human” societies outside the Space Republic emulate the customs of the loathsome Orcs of the Empire of Fash, admiring how they are saving money by not supporting disabled members of their communities.

This planet was subjected to humanitarian intervention after vile Orc sympathisers took power and corrupted the population. Despite their desperate pleas for help, the disabled people were being starved. Intervening Republican forces rounded up these evil degenerates who fanatically worshipped ableist social Darwinism, who abandoned disabled members of their communities to die proceeded to annihilate them.

And rightfully so, as filth like this has no right to exist.

The glorious Republican Paladins crushed the ableist skulls under armoured boots and with armoured fists, ripped the filthy ableist flesh apart with high caliber bullets and generally gave these social Darwinists exactly what they deserved for their inhuman depraved evil.

Stamping out the ableist Orc sympathiser cockroaches was a glorious deed that earned many medals to the troops of the Space Republic.

Gladly laying down their own lives to contribute to annihilation of the Orc filth.
These ableist social Darwinists aliens can’t count on mercy, Orcs are animals and deserve to be slaughtered like animals!

For their inhuman evil and their heartless subjecting of the disabled to starvation and their wars and slavery, the vile Orcs race was subjected to Edict of Annihilation. And rightfully so!

I’ve done it! I’ve done it! The Drawing is finally finished!

It took HOURS to do + hours upon hours of drawing exercises to maintain the ability to draw.

I think it was the beginning of Nightmare 2044. I was thinking about how there’s this dystopian sci-fi setting with somewhat shady characters called “good guys” and I was thinking there should be like something like Epic Fantasy in Space.

Soldiers of the Space Republic bringing justice to vile orc sympathisers.

Influenced by ideology of these perfidious aliens these orc sympathisers have left disabled members of their communities to die because they didn’t fulfil their productivity standards and supporting them would be a burden.

Soldiers of the Space Republic rounded up and annihilated these traitors of humanity. They killed that filth without mercy, blowing their brains out with high caliber bullets. And rightfully so as filth like this has no right to live.

Almost no one is helping recently. Losing all hope and motivation to draw war stuff. 20220212-20220311 I have spent 50h42m drawing including 16h17m doing drawing exercises. I need to get through this month, my mother's company finally got a small contract and I will have some work in CAD to do this month but it will take a month until we get paid.

The white paint you added to the last one almost feels like a splash of color, even if it's technically the inverse of this. (It stands out in much the same way a splash of color might on an otherwise greyscale illustration.) It's a subtle, but interesting touch.
