Hi all.

I run two different blogs that I use in my oldhammer dailiy life.

Nefarios Lair is my dailly blog in which i post everything I find of interest in my travels through the way I feel this hobby.

Nefarios Showcase is just a digital showcase to fight the fact that I only own a small showcase that stores my ongoing projects, so once a project ends, I put the minis in cases and they are buried for eternity. I decided this was not fair and that I needed a place to revisit these projects and enjoy my collection. This blog only shows pics of finished units and is organized in shelves, one for each project. I will be updating it slowly with the projects that lay inside the cases, and with the new paintings.

Thank you for taking the time to write some words.

Regarding the pallette It is not intentional, but the only way i am able to "colour" miniatures... I am not confortable with high contrasts as i am not able to manage them softly, so i paint the way you see on the pics.

I am neither good taking pics, so they show softer colours than having them un hand.

Beautiful painting and clever conversions, me likey a lot! Pink/purplish horns and red hoofs really make those goat-lads pop.

Man, just like twisted moon said, your painting is really nice looking and subdued palette works like a charm. No need to be so humble. :)

Regarding slaaneshy colours i would 100% agree when looking them as single minis, but they are part of a genestealer cult project in which, that pale look, is what i used to identify the touch of the stealers.

You may want to check the rest of the finished units of the project in the link to their shelf in the showcase blog above.
 
yep, no problem like I said ^_^ need to get some 'stealers painted up... much prefer them before they changed them to being tyrranid's...
