Name that Nurgling?

Sorting through a bag of old metal Nurglings (ew!) and found that I had some by Kev Adams, some by Trish Morrison and a few others that I didn’t recognise and can’t find in the catalogues.

The mystery pus bags are the ones in the lower row of the photo below. I’ve included a 1990 Kevling (top right) and a late ‘90s Trishling (top left) for comparison. As you can see, they’re considerably smaller than the ones by Kev and Trish.

The style’s rather similar to the ‘90s Trishlings as is the pose of the one on the right below.

Does anyone know anything about these little tykes?

Alot of the small nurglings where Kev and Aly Morrison. I've seen atleast 26 unique (ish) models.. I guess they were pretty easy to sculpt stuff due to the size and.. nature ^_^

Yes, 26 variants are shown in White Dwarf 131 & the 25 in the 1991 catalogue. They are credited to Kev Adams with Aly Morrison. However, all of them - including the ones that I think are Aly’s work - have peg bases. This is in contrast to the later Trishlings which have flat bases. My unidentified ones also have flat bases and look like Trish’s work. Only nine are shown in the ‘98, ‘99 & ‘00 Annuals. I’m guessing that the ones I’m asking about are her contemporaneous work but didn’t make it into the catalogues.

Can't say I've seen any of your little ones before. I wonder if perhaps they were bundled in with odd miniatures as basing bits at some point? I've quite a collection of Nurglings myself (my Trishlings as you put it are all mounted individually), but none of those little pegless ones in my assortment.

The style certainly looks more like Trish's work. She's quite active online - might be worth sending an enquiry her way? (https://www.facebook.com/TrishCardenminiaturesanddesign/)
